Anything Helps – Ending Homelessness Across the Puget Sound

Anything Helps is a Washington State 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 86-2924375) providing Medicaid-funded Holistic Case Management to people experiencing homelessness across King, Snohomish, Pierce, and Kitsap counties. We connect individuals and families with housing, healthcare, employment, and essential services through personalized, trauma-informed case management. Our team works directly with each client to build sustainable pathways out of homelessness — from emergency outreach and document recovery to long-term housing placement and stabilization.

What we do

Our case managers meet people where they are: in encampments, shelters, hospitals, and across the community. We coordinate care with healthcare systems, government agencies, schools, employers, and housing providers to remove the barriers that keep people unhoused. Every client receives a dedicated plan addressing housing, behavioral and physical health, income, identification, benefits, and long-term stability.

Where we work

We serve communities throughout the Puget Sound — including Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bremerton, and the surrounding cities of King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap counties. Our service area also covers unincorporated regions and rural communities where access to case management is limited.

How to get involved

Donate to fund direct client services. Volunteer your time as a micro-case manager, in-office support, or remote contributor. Apply for case management if you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness. Partner with us as a city, healthcare system, school district, or employer.

    How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

    • Service providers who help us operate our website, email, payments, and donor tools, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
    • Authorities when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our community
    • Partners you have explicitly consented to be referred to (for example, when we connect you to a community resource)

    How We Safeguard Information

    • Encryption in transit. All traffic to anything-helps.org is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
    • Encryption at rest. Data stored in our managed database and file storage is encrypted at the disk level.
    • Access controls. Administrative tools require authenticated, role-based access, and access is granted on a least-privilege basis.
    • Row-level security. Sensitive database tables enforce row-level policies so users can only see records they are authorized to view.
    • Trusted processors. Donations are handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
    • Monitoring. We log administrative actions and review our infrastructure for misconfigurations and vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis.
    • Data minimization. We collect only what we need to deliver services and fulfill our mission, and we retain it only as long as necessary.

    Third-Party Services

We rely on reputable vendors for hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing. Each vendor is selected for their security posture and contractual commitments to data protection. We never sell personal information.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Keep your account credentials private and use a strong, unique password.
    • Use a current, supported browser when accessing our site.
    • Notify us immediately if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

    Reporting a Vulnerability

We welcome reports from security researchers and members of the public. If you believe you have found a security issue affecting Anything Helps, please email admin@anything-helps.org with a description of the issue and steps to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before publicly disclosing any findings. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who act in good faith and avoid privacy violations, service disruption, or data destruction.

    Incident Response

In the event of a confirmed security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain and remediate the issue, and notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.

We send two kinds of email:

    • Donation emails — tax receipts, recurring-gift confirmations, year-end giving statements, and occasional donor updates about the impact of your support.
